Unique detached historic adobe carriage house on manor property , with full kitchen and walk in rock shower bathroom. Private and peaceful, view – views- views of the Ortiz Mountains and Galisteo river basin. Located just 16 miles SE of Santa Fe, in a magical ghost town. Seasonal Hot Tub under the New Mexico sky! Walking distance to a The Black Bird Saloon and a little shopping. Walking to Hiking 3000 acres Cerrillos Hills State Park, or mountain biking trails, horse outfitter as well.

The kitchen is stocked with cooking needs. In the summer we offer a foraging garden right outside your door with tomatoes and herbs. Private Outdoor covered patio, coyotes and road runners. 25 minutes to Santa Fe and Meow Wolf – 1 hour to the Santa Fe Ski lift.

HOUSE RULES

Although well behaved dogs are welcome, we ask they be approved by the host first. If you leave your animal unattended they must be kept in a crate. Animals are NOT allowed on the bed, a fee will be applied to hair covered bedding. Animals must be kept on a leash for security, as we have mountain lions, coyotes and very large owls. Please curb your pet.
All toilet tissue will be placed in the trash can NOT in the toilet, the house is over 120 years old, be kind.

There is no smoking of any kind in the buildings but outdoor smoking is allowed. Please be respectful we have a teenager on the property, and please do not smoke in front of any windows, or in the hot tub. ( we have had several roaches stewing in the hot tub and it is unpleasant). Please be water wise , we are in the desert.

LGBTQ Friendly Casita!
Full bath, full size bed, desk/workspace, reading area, fridge, cooking and eating utensils, it has a very tropical, Mediterranean feel to it…we’ve got you covered! We are also a perfect fit for anyone relocating, transfers and students. BBQ and Patio area, office area, towels and sleeping arrangements to accommodate 3 persons. and more! Under 5 minute drive to the Airport and Strip.

Our Casita is the perfect spot to visit Vegas! We are LGBTQ friendly – pet friendly so you are welcome to smoke inside or outside of the Casita. Cigarette smokers are welcome but please smoke outside only. Your pets are more than welcome to stay as well, since the Villa has a XXL dog door and exterior kennel there’s no need to board them! There is an extra mattress and rolling frame with bedding, linen and pillow in the closet…please take care when removing it from the closet. All new shower head and tub upgrades!

DO NOT use the Japanese screens or other furniture for animal confinement. I have gates, cages, pens, kennels and crates you can use!

There is a guest book on the dining room table, it should have all the information you need in it.
