The Hostel has a great location, next to two of the biggest Avenues in town, next to a shopping mall, which is full of restaurants, shops, a supermarket, ATMs and a movie theater. The hostel is close to bus stops, taxi stands and is about 10/15 mins walk from downtown, not far from the local bus station and also near the international bus terminal. Made in Brazil hostel is the perfect hub to get where you need to be while you enjoy the city. All our rooms come with comfy wooden bunk beds, shared showers & toilets. We have lockers for your belongings, a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a computer with internet access, WiFi for free use, TV room, 24 hours reception service and – of course – no age limit, no curfew, no lockout and other rules.

You’ll get a free set of bed linen, all essential information about the goings-on and tips of what to do in town. We offer breakfast; our lively bar serves cheap drinks and snacks. We also provide a swimming pool, ping pong and pool table, and board games. Fun and comfort never ends here!

Enjoy the 3rd floor of an eclectic historic townhouse! If you love a wild explosion of color, french bulldogs, and having a gracious host- look no further! Includes queen bed, private bath, office desk area, and sitting room with regular TV. Located in the heart of Detroit’s West Village with multiple bars and restaurants within walking distance including, Marrow, Destination 1905, Snack Camp, and Detroit Vegan Soul. Just a short Uber Ride to downtown. Kitchen can be used on request ( we need notice to get it guest-ready) 3rd-floor space has a bar fridge and mini keurig with coffee and tea.

It is very cozy, clean, and cottage like- but if you want a hotel like experience, it may not be for you. Smoking of cigarettes is allowed as well-if you are a non smoker, let us know and we will accommodate your preference in the common areas!

Parking is on the street and almost always available within a block.

BUS 49! COZY, VINTAGE CONVERTED BUS!

Converted 1979 Crown school bus! Queen bed, a small bunk bed and a futon – sleeps up to 4 including infants and children. Kitchenette (stove top, tea & coffee facilities, fridge, sink), bedroom, dining and living area on board. Modern Alaskan shower house with shower and toilet a few steps from the bus. Outside area has fire pit and picnic table. Pets welcome for a fee.

Hope is a small historic mining town that has evolved into a outdoor recreation wonderland. With multiple guided and non guided activities in the area, it’s a perfect base to explore Alaska’s famous Kenai Pensiula. We provide two mountain bikes to explore the numerous trails accessible from the bus. Town is about a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute bike ride from the bus. There is a bar, a cafe and coffee shops in town.

The Bus area is located on the front part of our property. There is also a cabin next door for rent and an unoccupied cabin on the other side of the Bus. Our house is at the back of the property, beyond the old cabin is out of bounds.

The neighborhood

We are in a local Alaskan neighborhood where you will most likely run into our neighbors – everyone is very friendly and always up for a chat so please enjoy being apart of our small community!

Getting around

Hope is a very small community where most people ride a bike or walk to get around. We highly recommend renting a car to get to Hope and to make the most of your stay in Alaska. There are lots of walking trails to get around the Hope community and we provide a couple of bicycles if you would like to do things the locals way!

Other things to note

We just like to make people aware that this is an eclectic, vintage bus you’re staying in and whilst it is very comfortable staying in this bus it isn’t for everyone so please consider this before booking. We have a big, friendly white dog who is on the property and always up for belly scratches and ear rubs! Hope has a small general store but if you plan on cooking/eating in please bring your own food.

Situated next the players lot walk out the front door and watch all of your favorite players enter the stadium. Then take a quick 3 min walk to Gallagher way where you can sure find a ton of activities to do all year round. We are with-in 3 blocks of over a dozen other bars and restaurants including the Metro / Smartbar.

The space
Feel like a real Chicagoan when you stay in our 2 bedroom city flat. We offer a full kitchen with all the amenities of home. Watch your favorite movie on our 55″ flat screen tv. We have Netflix, Hulu, Roku, and a Chrome Cast. You will feel at home in one of our 2 bed rooms where you can find a Queen size bed in one and a sturdy wooden twin over full bunk bed in the other. Need extra sleeping room? We have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, 2 cots with a memory foam mattress and, a futon in the rec room where you will have more fun than sleep. We will provide all the towels and sheets to make your stay as comfortable as possible. So, have fun exploring and find out why Wrigley is the best part of Chicago!

On top of our spacious apartment you can schedule time in our large outdoor area. Where you can grill, chill and watch the game or a movie! Secure keyless entry garages are also available for your stay (All aresubject to availability)(additional fees will Apply)

THE LITTLE GOAT HOUSE

Urban Homesteading is coming alive @ The Little Goat House! Come enjoy the space in a beautifully updated 1905 bungalow filled with art, books, + treasures. Nestled on the corner of a dead end street, the home is located on the lower South Hill just 10 mins from downtown. Curl up in the queen bed under the skylights in the loft, walk, jog, or ride the Ben Burr trail, or head up the hill to Perry Street bars, cafes, restaurants, + yoga. Enjoy plenty of fenced yard space + frolic with urban goats!

YOUR SPACE
Your quarters are located upstairs in the loft space, which has two separate alcoves (no door between). On one side, you will find a comfortable queen bed – on the other, a sofa easily folds out into a double bed (plenty of memory foam and feather bed additions for optimal comfort!). When the sofa bed is not in use, this space serves as a separate lounging area for you to enjoy. Please let me know ahead of time if you will be using the sofa bed, and I will get everything set up for you. Both alcoves have skylights, and the sound of rain on the metal roof is a real treat!

***Please Note: The loft may require some bending and bobbing for taller folks (6’+), as it has a slanted ceiling. The loft space does NOT have a door between it and the main floor. Rest assured, the loft space is very private. There is a multi-level staircase which provides privacy visibility-wise, and you will find the space very contained. The shared bathroom is located at the bottom of loft space stairs. There is no visibility into loft space from the main floor, main floor hall, or into the bath. I will never enter the loft space during your stay unless you need something and ask for my help!

The Georgetown Spot
The Clear Creek is right outside your doors and is visible from the chalet! Our Georgetown Spot has a beautiful setting with a peaceful vibe. It is right in the middle of the Georgetown valley but very private. There are no houses facing the Spot. Follow the creekside path to anywhere in town. The view of Guanella and Loveland passes is fantastic as the Clear Creek rushes by. Georgetown has easy access to so much of what Colorado is famous for and is less than an hour to Denver or Vail!

Your Georgetown Spot has been recently renovated specifically for vacation rental activities. The full kitchen has everything you need and you can bar-b-que to your heart’s content on the back deck. There are two queen beds and one full size bed with quality bedding. Pillows and mattresses have been selected to provide a range of firmness so there should be a comfortable night’s sleep for everyone. The Natuzzi leather seating in the living is comfortable and the thermostat on the fireplace can be set for the amount of ambiance you prefer. The 47 inch swivel mounted smart HD TV is visible from anywhere in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. It has 200 channels plus HBO and Cinemax. Note: The balcony level is open and is considered a bedroom. The queen-size canopy bed there is next to an outdoor balcony. Outstanding views are available from this bed with bedside refrigerator and the outdoor balcony. There are is also a seating area next to the bed to enjoy the views. The Spot faces south – a real advantage in summer and winter. The “wall of widows” provides for ample light and solar heating. The “flow-through” breeze in the summer keeps the Spot cools. The Spot is private. It’s setting allows one to take in the view from one of the 4 decks while passers by don’t even notice you!

Neighborhood Overview
Restaurants are a block away (Blue Sky Cafe, Whistle Stop, Subway, etc.) Walk the 3 blocks to The Alpine for awesome pizza, salads, live entertainment, and a bar with model trains running on tracks overhead.

A 2-block walk along the creek in the other direction takes you to Georgetown Lake! With the creek and lake outside, you may want to drop a line and try your luck. Ice fishing is popular in the winter – as are car races on the ice. Paddle about in the summer. Numerous hiking trails start in Georgetown.

The world famous Georgetown Railroad and mine tour is here as well. Sure, you can walk there. A drive up Guanella Pass will take your breath away. Perhaps you could hike Mount Bierdstadt while your up there. It is one of the Colorado 14ners and can be done in less than a day by most people.

If the family friendly activities above are not enough, Loveland ski area is only 13 miles up I-70. Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin are all in Summit county just 20 minutes away. Don’t forget to tour the Phoenix gold mine on the Clear Creek frontage road just 10 miles east of Georgetown. There’s more… golf, snow shoeing, nordic skiing, brewery hopping, antiquing, art galleries, horseback riding and more. Ask us about your interests and we’ll point you in the right direction with everything just minutes from your door.

Please do not destroy our chalet. Treat it like it it is your mom’s! Leave it the way you found it! Clean up, do the dishes, start the laundry, take out the trash, etc. are part of this. A check list can be provided.

Please do NOT open the fireplace or mess with the controls. The thermostat is on the pillar wall behind the couch.

The chalet is a duplex so please confine activity to our side of the duplex both indoors and out. You will not hear the person in the adjacent unit.

THE BALI HOUSE AT CROOKED FINGER FARMS

Romantic, peaceful, private cabin retreat located on a 67 acre organic farm in the country just one hour from Portland, Oregon. Complete with a private Cedar hot tub that epitomizes the term ‘Glamping’. This stylish cabin is equipped to a high standard with a cozy sleeping loft and gorgeous views of the farm’s lush lawns and gardens. Downstairs is a comfortable seating area, gravel floor & hot tub. Spend an evening by a cozy bonfire sipping local wine. Come hike our trails or visit nearby waterfalls.

We are unique in that we have 67 acres of private lawns, gardens, meadows and trails. We have horses, chickens and friendly cats and a dog… Best of all there are also extensive private hiking trails behind our property that enable guests to truly get out and enjoy nature in solitude.

We will remain open for people who need to escape to the country, as getting outside is essential for our mental health and well-being. And because of the relatively remote location of the farm, we can offer guests a unique opportunity to have a completely private experience in nature.

Guests will have access to a full private bathroom with a bathtub/shower for their exclusive use.

Please Note: The bathroom and kitchenette are located a short walk away (bathrobes provided) in our historic barn and stables where the horses will keep you company.

Guests MUST shower before using the hot tub!
And please do not change the settings on the hot tub. You may find that there will be some overflow when using the tub, this is normal.
We requests that guests kindly remove their shoes when going upstairs.

Your comfort is important to us. A lot of care goes into ensuring guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay and we strive to keep the property clean. We ask that guests please respect the property and leave it as they found it; dishes washed shades rolled up, etc… We realize that accidents happen, and we just ask that you inform us ASAP so we are aware of the situation and can make arrangements to fix it before our next guests arrive. And please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Check out is at 11:00 am. We are happy to have you stay on the property later, but you will need to vacate the Bali House and bathroom/kitchenette for cleaning, as we often have guests booked back to back.

Please wash all dirty dishes and return. Please empty trash in the Bali House.

There is parking for one car up by the Big Barn. If you have a 2nd vehicle you will need to inform us at the time of booking.

Non-registered guests are NOT allowed on the property!

Please do not eat excessively messy foods inside the Bali House as this stains the cushions, attracts rodents and is difficult to clean off the gravel floor.

Please remove your shoes when using the sleeping loft, thank you.

We are on a sensitive septic system; please do NOT dispose of anything in the toilets. Use the trash. And please do not dispose of oil or grease in the sink.

There are no open flames allowed inside the Bali House or the Barn. Sorry, that means NO Candles! If you have propane stove you must use it outside only.

Please Note: Crooked Finger Farms has a strict No Smoking policy on the farm and Cigarette Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the property!

Please make sure all lights are turned off when not in use and doors closed and locked in the barn at night.

The Hot Tub:
We do not use chemicals in our tub but rather a water ionizer. Please keep our tub clean by showering first before use.

The hot tub is NOT a bathtub, and must never have anything added to the water, as it will ruin the filter. The hot tub is a soaking tub ONLY! The jets do not work and will blow the power, so please do not use them. Please use towels and robes provided and do not sit on the seating when wet, as it causes mildew, thank you.

The Hot tub cover is NOT weight bearing. Please do not sit, lean on or place heavy items on cover as it will crack and is very expensive to replace.

Please Note: Non-observance of these rules will result in a forfeiture of your deposit.
